About C.A.S.AlkydPro Paints

 

For years we have been researching and making alkyd paints. This research has finally led us to the development of C.A.S. AlkydPro Paint. Finally, artists have another choice for alkyd paint. C.A.S. AlkydPro Paint is the first full line of true alkyds made in the United States, and the first line of Artist's- grade alkyds. Unlike some fast-drying oils available today, our paints are made entirely from an Alkyd Resin Base and contain a similar load of pigment to that found in professional oil paint. We are now offering 54 luminous colors and four mediums, providing artists with a full range of color and creative potential.

Our paints are Not the student-grade quality that artists have come to expect from available alkyd paints. We use a low-odor formula, containing the minimum mineral spirits and the maximum pigment. AlkydPro paints dry within a few hours to 2 days, depending on paint thickness, room temperature, etc. After drying, the surface stays flexible and durable.

We have painstakingly perfected our formula to create thick paints that are similar in consistency to oil paints. Our formulation retains brushstrokes, as well as smooth brushability. Our colors are lightfast, and unlike most traditional oils, they are non-yellowing and remain brilliant long after drying. They are compatible with traditional oils and solvents. Available in 70ml and 120 ml tubes. Some colors and mediums are also available in 175ml tubes.
